Whenever a children's product (or any product for that matter) is deemed unsafe, harmful, or defective, they are typically recalled by the manufacturer in order to prevent further incidents and potentially fix the problem. And each year, incidents caused by products are reported; from poisoning to unfortunate lethal accidents. In the United States, for example, 11 injuries relating to falling were caused by TOMY Boon Flair & Flair Elite highchairs before the product got recalled in 2023.
